You two will always be special to us for bringing these two beautiful animals into our lives. They are so a part of who we are

Just had to tell you how much we enjoyed the pictures!!! Especially the one with the three dogs on the bed. Now I know we're truly not the only ones. Isn't it a kick how they so love their comfort. You really named Chinook well when you called her Comfort Queen - she's the first one up on the bed each morning.

I can't believe it's been two years already. We celebrated by taking a nice long walk & are now taking it easy by the fire...Seems we have an endless supply of couch potato pictures. Comfort Queen & King do so enjoy their naps

I thought you might be interested in a little insight to Chinook personalities at age 2.... most of which we may have shared with you on our phone visits but for me it's just a chance to reflect on what they've grown into.
Chinook In a word she is a nurturer....the little Mother. Always quick to check on the welfare of her pack whether it be Nanuq, Nikki or Mike & I. She's the "love bug" and if at all possible wants to be right next to you - in a lap is even better. She's the first to jump up to follow me & right behind her will be her brother. Chinook has endless amounts of energy and is the first one up each morning. If she wakes before we're ready to get up she likes to snuggle up between us. Chinook is the picture of health. After that one episode with hair loss on her ear no other similar problems have followed. Her vet thinks that was all stress related after her brief stay at the kennel during our vacation last year. It cleared up right away after our return...She's just very sensitive & can be very cautious with new situations. New visitors are asked to let her come to you (which she almost always does). Chinook adores Nikki & will roll over in front of her & lick her mouth until Nikki gets tired of it & walks away. Chinook can be very persistent though & will usually just follow Niks until she gets enough. Chinook & Nanuq have an amazing bond and seldom apart whether sleeping or awake.

Can you believe that it's been 2 years since we met you to pick up these two white dogs. So hard to believe - time goes so quickly & yet they've grown so much.

Their last trip to the vet put Chinook at 98 lbs Chinook looks like she's all solid muscle - really just a beautiful girl.
